me_ From a very young age, we are educated to receive audio and visual material in a particular way. The links between sound and image is unconscious, but clear in a narrative way. When these links are broken or simply modified, our perception of the reality keeps us aware of an alteration of the “live” narrative. My artistic practise is focused on how the relation between the observer and the material that is being observed can be modified. In technical aspects, I’m very interested in playing with Live Cinema as a way of constructing new narratives. Cinema is a medium in which most of us have received a great visual education. We understand the codes, and that leads us to respond to them appropriately. Live Cinema provides a context in which to play with narrative links between sound and image, playing with movie cuts, soundtrack, manipulating the videos and the audios. This allows me to build a new narrative through the new relationship between what we see, what we hear and the codes that we already know.
